Full-stack · frontend → API → database → data
Hi, I'm Zulqifl Zaman
Full-Stack Web Developer & Data Analyst
2+ years building modern, scalable, responsive web applications with clean architecture and reliable backend systems — and turning the data behind them into analysis people can act on.
professional summary
Building digital experiences that work.
I work across the whole stack — interface, API, database and deployment. That means a feature doesn't get handed between three people to ship: the component, the endpoint it calls and the table behind it are designed together.
My focus is code that stays readable six months later, interfaces that hold up on a phone as well as a 27-inch monitor, and backends that fail loudly in development instead of quietly in production.
Alongside the application work I do data analysis — Python, Pandas and SQL for the cleaning and the querying, Excel and dashboards for the reporting. The same data that sits in the database gets pulled out and answered with, instead of just stored.
How I work
about me
About me
I'm Zulqifl Zaman, a full-stack web developer and data analyst with 2+ years of professional experience and 40+ projects built and delivered — from single-page interfaces to complete systems with an API, a database and a reporting layer behind them.
I work on both sides of the stack. On the frontend that means building component-driven interfaces in React and TypeScript that stay fast and readable on any screen. On the backend it means REST APIs, authentication, and SQL schemas that hold up as an app grows. What I enjoy most is the part in between — taking an idea and turning it into a complete, functional product that someone can actually use.
Over those two years the work has widened past the app itself. I analyse the data these systems produce with Python, Pandas and SQL, build the reports in Excel and dashboards, and use AI tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT and DeepSeek as part of the daily workflow — with every generated line reviewed and tested before it ships.
What I bring
frontend development
Frontend development
Interfaces built with semantic markup, typed components and a responsive system that starts at 360px and scales up.
backend development
Backend development
Server-side logic, authentication and REST endpoints designed around the data they serve.
databases & development tools
Data, tooling, delivery
The layer underneath the interface, and the tools that get it from a local branch to a live URL.
Databases
Normalised schemas, indexed queries, relational modelling and migrations.
Tools
Branch-based workflow, tested endpoints, fast local builds.
Development
From first route to production deploy, with error handling in between.
data analysis
Data analysis & reporting
The other half of the work: pulling the data out, cleaning it, and turning it into something a decision can be made from. Python and SQL do the heavy lifting; Excel, charts and dashboards carry it to the people who have to read it.
Collect
SQL pulls, CSV/Excel exports, API responses and scraped sources.
Clean
Pandas for nulls, duplicates, types, joins and reshaping into a tidy frame.
Analyse
Grouping, trends, segments, correlations and the occasional model.
Visualise
Matplotlib, Seaborn and Plotly — one chart per question, no decoration.
Report
Excel workbooks, Power BI dashboards or a notebook someone can rerun.
ai-assisted workflow
How I work with AI
AI is part of my toolchain, not a shortcut around understanding it. It moves fast on the mechanical parts — boilerplate, refactors, test scaffolding, data transforms — and I read, run and review every line before it reaches the repo.
